Shaping the Future: A Student’s Path in Leadership and Representation

University life is not only about lectures and exams but also about stepping outside the classroom to grow and glow. Many students today prove that academic success can go hand in hand with active involvement in organizations and representation roles, inspiring others to do the same.

Meet Moch. Yoga Pratama, a Medical Laboratory Technology student at Poltekkes Surabaya whose journey goes far beyond the walls of the classroom. Known for his dedication, discipline, and passion for growth, he has proven that being a student is not just about pursuing academic excellence, but also about building character through leadership and representation.

His path is filled with inspiring achievements. In 2024, he was crowned Putra Teknologi Laboratorium Medis, a recognition that highlighted both his intelligence and charisma. The same year, he actively contributed as a member of the Student Executive Board (BEM), where he honed his leadership and teamwork skills by working on programs that supported and empowered fellow students.

His love for culture also shone brightly when he won 3rd Place in Putera Puteri Batik Jawa Timur, a moment that combined his pride in local heritage with his ability to inspire others. That experience later opened a bigger stage, where Yoga had the honor of representing East Java in Putera Puteri Batik Indonesia, bringing the voice and identity of his region to a national platform.

Moch. Yoga Pratama’s journey reminds us that success is not only measured by academic achievements, but also by the courage to lead, represent, and inspire others. His story proves that with passion, dedication, and persistence, every student has the power to create a meaningful impact and shape a brighter future.
